Matt Henderson visits Volunteer Speedway

Matt Henderson was back behind the wheel of the Scott Sharp-owned No. 118 Late Model on Thursday evening at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the inaugural Kyle Larson Presents Late Model Challenge powered by Tezos event. In a stout field 42 cars, Henderson topped his time trial group but suffered a flat right-rear tire in his heat race that transferred into the B-Main. Needing to place fourth or better to make the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Matt fell one spot short with a fifth-place outing. (Josh James Artwork)
