Motor Issues Hinder Henderson's Iron-Man Series Debut

Competing in the Super Late Model ranks, Matt Henderson made the short trip to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Saturday evening for the Schaeffer’s Iron-Man Series sanctioned program. In a field of 31 cars, Henderson recorded the fourth fastest time in his group before placing third in his heat race. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main, Matt ran in the Top-10 for the majority of the race until motor issues that stemmed from a rocker arm forced him to retire early.
